Jesus says ‘I am the same today, tomorrow, and forever. I change not‘ (Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8).
Now, if He healed all who were brought before Him in faith (Matthew 15:30), and He is the same healing, caring Lord today, then it is true that all who are brought before Him, believing, shall be saved, and delivered from their affliction (Psalm 103:3).
By these promises, the Lord Almighty saved both my parents from cancer. He healed them both completely! They were on ‘treatments’, but these man-made chemicals were harming them, changing them even. And it was not until they believed, and stopped treatment, that they were saved.
(This is not advice. God can work through medicine, and you must seek His guidance in all your affairs and decisions, for God can deliver in a multitude of ways, including through medication, if He wills.)
Today, my dad is suffering a different illness in the hospital. It has been a long harrowing trial, a trial of faith. Many enemies surround us. The Enemy daily attacks, seeking to steal our joy and cripple our faith.
But we serve a mighty God. ‘I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord‘ (Psalm 118:17). My mom quoted that during her illness. The Lord who lives and who delivers can save my dad as well. Our prayers come before Him.
And He can heal you or your loved one of any sickness or affliction. Believe on His name, and ‘LET US HOLD FAST TO THE CONFESSION OF OUR HOPE WITHOUT WAVERING, FOR HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL’ (Hebrews 10:23).
In meditation with my mother and sister, the Lord said ‘Be still and see that I AM FAITHFUL.’
So now we hold this and wait to see His faithfulness.
Romans 15:13 ‘Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.’
